Hello and a warm welcome to all! My name is John and I am the proud owner of Debonair Dogs Daycare & Grooming.

My journey began with a Bachelor’s Degree in Science, majoring in Civil Engineering and a Master’s in Business, I bring both structure and intention to everything we do. Yet beyond academics, my true passion has always been rooted in caring for animals. Growing up surrounded by farm life, I developed a deep sense of compassion, responsibility, and an understanding of the unique needs of every animal values that continue to guide me today.

Dogs, in particular, hold a special place in my heart. Their loyalty, joy, and unconditional love inspire my commitment to creating a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment where every dog can truly thrive.

At Debonair Dogs, we bring a meticulous, detail-oriented approach to care upholding the trust our community values while elevating the experience through personalized attention and genuine connection. Every dog that walks through our doors is treated like family, with their comfort, safety, and well-being held to the highest standard.

General Manager

Husain Murtaza

Husain is the Manager at Debonair Dogs & Grooming, bringing together hands-on canine care experience and a strong foundation in marketing. Beginning his journey as a daycare attendant, he developed a deep understanding of dog behavior, safety, and enrichment.

With a background in marketing, Husain plays a key role in shaping both the client experience and the brand’s connection with its community. He now oversees daily operations, team performance, and service quality—ensuring every dog receives exceptional care in a structured and engaging environment.

His passion for dogs, combined with his strategic mindset, continues to elevate the Debonair experience for both pets and their owners.

Attendant & Social Media Manager

Miranda Camargo

Miranda is our Daycare Attendant at Debonair Dogs, where she combines her passion for animal care with her creative skills. Over the years, she has built extensive hands-on experience working in animal-focused environments, including dog shelters and as a dog walker, developing a strong understanding of canine behavior and well-being.

In addition to her work with dogs, Miranda brings a background in social media management and content creation. She plays an important role as our content creator and social media coordinator, helping capture and share the daily life, personality, and care that define Debonair Dogs. Through her work, she helps connect our community with the love and dedication we put into every dog we care for.

Kyle Merrett

Meet Kyle, our dedicated volunteer who brings both experience and heart to everything he does. With a strong background in handling dogs, he is confident working with different breeds, sizes, and personalities.

Kyle is incredibly committed and always goes the extra mile to make sure every dog feels safe, happy, and loved. He has a natural connection with animals and a special talent for engaging with them—whether it’s playtime, enrichment, or simply giving them the affection and comfort they need.

His patience, kindness, and genuine love for animals make him a valued part of our team and a favorite among the dogs he cares for.

Krista Leigh-Fulton

Kris comes to Debonair with over 24 years grooming experience! She specializes in anxious, senior and dogs with special needs! Her calm disposition and meticulous attention to detail is what makes her a sought after groomer! We are lucky to have such an experienced and loving groomer who takes the time to get to know each pup's individualized needs. She holds an Honours in Ontario Grooming Diploma and a Pet First Aid Certificate.

Vicky Ban

Vicky is a certified professional groomer with several years of experience working with a wide range of breeds and temperaments. She is KKF certified and holds a Fear Free Certification, ensuring every grooming session is handled with care, patience, and minimal stress.

Her gentle approach and attention to detail help create a safe and comfortable experience for every dog in her care.

Overnight team

Meet our Overnight Attendants, the team responsible for caring for your dogs throughout the night. They stay on-site to ensure every pup is safe, comfortable, and well looked after while resting away from home.

Our overnight team is experienced in handling a variety of needs, including administering medications, monitoring behavior, and providing personalized care for each dog. They also keep pet parents updated with regular check-ins, so you can have peace of mind knowing your dog is in good hands at all times.

With their attention, patience, and love for animals, our Overnight Attendants make sure every dog feels secure and cared for, even during the quietest hours of the night.

Walkers

Meet our Walkers, a dedicated team with extensive experience handling dogs of all sizes, breeds, and energy levels. They understand that every dog is unique, and they tailor each walk to match the individual needs of the pup, whether it’s a high-energy, active walk or a slower, enrichment-focused stroll full of sniffing and exploring.

Our walkers are skilled in managing a wide range of personalities, from playful and energetic dogs to more shy or reactive ones. They prioritize safety, comfort, and positive experiences on every walk, ensuring each dog feels confident and cared for while outside.

With their knowledge, patience, and love for dogs, our walkers provide more than just exercise, they create meaningful, enjoyable experiences for every pup in their care.
